When is the best time to book?

Newborn sessions are best to be booked during your pregnancy as I can book up months in advance (it’s never too early).

I will pencil in your due date, then once your baby has arrived we can finalize a time and date for your session. It is best to photograph your newborn during the first two weeks (6-12 days ideal).

Maternity sessions are best around the 30-35 week mark but can be done at any stage, depending how you are showing! 

Family & Portrait sessions are welcome at any time and it’s best to book early if you have a specific date in mind. Weekend sessions are limited.

How much does a session cost?

Depending on your session, the session fee costs $200 - $270

Once you attend your reveal session in the studio, you can then choose one of our packages & collections available. ​

Packages & Collections start from $595 

Our clients spend between $795-3,000.

How long can I expect my session to go for?

Family & Portrait Sessions - 1-1.5 Hours 

Newborn Sessions - 2-3 Hours

What should I wear to the shoot?

It can be stressful trying to figure out what to wear, but don't worry I am here to help make this process as smooth as possible! I always suggest to try and be matching with colours and to always avoid shirts with large patterns or slogans/pictures on them. 

Try to choose between bold colours or neutral tones. Wear something that you feel comfortable in. 

Studio photos will be shot in front of a light backdrop and outdoors sessions will take place where lots of greenery and colour is! Bring any accessories or extra clothing you would like to use! This shoot is all about you and I like to show that through my photos! 

Before your photoshoot, I will send an information booklet with styling ideas & colours. I am always free to chat or facetime if you need help with arranging your outfits.

What time of the day does each session take place?

Family & Portrait sessions will take place in either the afternoon, just before sunset (this is called golden hour).

Weekend sessions start from 9-10 am. 

Newborn sessions are always during the week and start from 10 am in the morning.

How many people can be in each session?

Outdoor sessions with families there is no limit. In saying this if you would like a large family photo please advise this when contacting me, some extra fee's may apply. 

Studio sessions there is a limit of 6 people due to the size & space of the studio.

What happens if someone is sick for our session or the weather is bad?

Melbourne weather as we all know is super unpredictable! I am always on weather watch and I will make a decision 24/48 hours prior to your session if your session needs to be rescheduled. 

If you or anyone in your family has become ill, please let me know asap if you need the session to be re-scheduled.  You must give at least 24/48 hours prior to the session, in failure to do this you will need to pay a 'reshoot fee of $100'.

Are pets allowed to come to the session?

Yes! Outdoor sessions only. 

I love animals, and if you would like your furry friend in the photos that is no problem! 

Please note your pets must be well trained & groomed at the session, if your pet is out of control I will have to finish the session early.

Do you offer Hair & Makeup service for the session?

Yes! I have two lovely hair & makeup artists I work with.

Do you have props and clothes for newborn sessions?

Yes! I have a range of blankets, wraps, props and accessories available in the studio. 

I can also edit the colour of the blankets and accessories on photoshop to give it a different look.
